I like it. Was gonna share with my 14 year old daughter, except for the punchline. Not a message I want to send her. Lovely in all other respects.

I think that's the point. It's from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel... not the happiest musical.

So glad to know that I saw what I thought I saw. I am familiar with the song and where it comes from, but I wasn't positive if her eye was inteded to look black & blue or not. Now I know for sure.

Although, I'm pretty sure it would be a huge clue that 'he was bad', if he punches you in the face...

        :-P

Still trying not to be annoyed that I spent pretty much my whole day with that thing, and about two hours herding and shouting at people, and ended up being cut out of the final version. Actually, I soptted myself from the shoulders down for about two seconds.

Yeah i'm vain, I admit it. And it's still a neat video.

I *am* kind of curious why the one DG window was just a super bright light. Did the model in the window not wish to be in the video? Or did they think the model would take attention away from the star of the video? I notice Nathalie walks out, looks at the window and walks back in, as though she is trying to avoid the videotaping. Of course, the lady ducking down going in front of the far window is a bit distracting... (I don't see any reason for her to duck down! )

I like to play 'how many times can I spot...?' ;-D

I have always wished that, if people HAVE to walk in front of a camera, they'd just do so, quickly and normally, unless they're CERTAIN they can duck below its level!

I wonder if the DG window just reads extra bright because its behind (plexi)glass and is brighter than the Dickens atmosphere. Also, it's out of focus, as is most of the inside of Dark Garden. But you can see the woman in the window on our left fairly clearly, because she's part of the deeply focused background behind Ms. Palmer.

I think the brightness actually had to do with the blur focal point of the camera.

I noticed the blurring, but it seemed to be so specific to one of the windows (the other one was clear) that I considered that perhaps whoever was in that window hadn't given permission to be part of the video? or perhaps the view was just a bit too risque for public viewing?

Actually, the blur starts from across the front door of Dark Garden all the way to the edge of the screen from the moment the guy in white jeans and a blue Hawaiian shirt shows up in the picture. Once he is out of sight, the blur goes away.

I was in that window. I figure it was just a trick of the lights they were using reflecting off the plexiglas of the window; I seem to recall having to choose my head position carefully for a pose or two to keep the light out of my eyes.

Looks like it is just an artifact of them fuzzing out the stuff they didnt want focused on. Comes off as whiter because it is better lit and fuzzed out. If you notice, at 1:10 the windo Carolyn is in gets fuzzed a bit and brightens... I think they were basicly using the fuzz/blur so as to not distract viewers from Ms Palmer.
