Mon, July 7, 2008 - 10:03 AMSorry to report: Dickens Unplugged closed prematurely, the publicist said this morning. Apparently didn't do well enough; he'll have to bring it to San Francisco. -

Re: Now Playing in England
Mon, July 7, 2008 - 6:47 PMIt was great!
I saw it.
I just checked their web page & the Comedy Theatre's webpage, they aren't selling any more tickets.
More the pity.
It was the Complete-Dickens with a slight western flavor.
I'm guessing that the Brit's "just don't get it".
I don't know if Adam is coming back to Santa Rosa or not....
Unfortunately, it wouldn't quite work at the Dickens Fair... IMHO... it breaks the 4th wall, a bit too much
besides having a Mark Twain styled show... and accents... -

Why would Adam come back to Santa Rosa? He's been living in London for almost 20 years.
And Dickens is ALL ABOUT breaking that fourth wall. -
